Dear University Community:

Many of our students, faculty, and staff have been deeply affected by the loss of student David Josiah Lawson. As we mourn his death, we will need to remember to be caring and as flexible as possible in the weeks to come.

Oil Change

Does anyone know of a good place to get an oil change for my daughter's car in Arcata (or Eureka)?  Last Fall I took it to a place in Eureka, can't remember the name, it came up in a Bing search.  It was ok but it was like an assembly line where they kept suggesting additions after additions which really added up.  I just want a straight forward oil change.

Any opinions on the need for safes for things like laptops, cameras, etc.   Not even sure how you would secure one so someone doesn't grab the whole thing.

I hadn't thought about this, but saw thay they are available for rent when looking at the bed stacking page

Apt. needed

My son will be attending HSU in Fall 2016.  Would like to rent a studio or 1 bedroom apt.close to the college starting June or July to get settled in .. I'd appreciate any insight.  And/or if anyone has any property mgmt. contacts they could direct us to that would be helpful.

Since we are from Sacramento, trying to figure out best time to come up in May to find him a place to lease.
