We put a call out to parents and family like you to help provide some recipes for students making their own Thanksgiving dinners and you really came through.
Share these recipes with your student to help them perk up their first Thanksgiving away from home, or just diversify their weekly food-routine. After all, a student can’t survive on pizza alone.

Hi All,my senior son needs a new room mate to share his 2 bedroom apartment across the street from HSU. Well as most of you know the students who live off campus rent from June 1 to May 31. I have a question my daughter landlord wants the girls to turn the utilities on June 1, 2012, but the girls will not be there during the summer. What are your thoughts.

We made it through Freshman Year...
We made it through our first year of Humboldt State. She is finished with finals, renting a storage unit with some folks, signing her lease with yes a one parent co-signer. On Sat early morning driving down home to spend the summer working at Knotts. Its been a challenging empty nest year to say the least. Worst part is when she got very very ill and went to the health center after her eyes bugged out. She was just told to rest. I finally convinced her our health insurance covers…

OMG my daughter wants to live off campus! now what?
